The Diamond is located on the Austrgrid Substation site in Pitt Street near Blelmore park in the Sydney CBD. This 200 unit scheme won a competition for the commission. Located near China town the site includes vibrant ground floor retail. It incorporates a new retail pedestrian laneway to the east. The site presented challenges to achieve natural sunlight within the solar height p[lane. The unique Diamond design arises from the carving of angles to capture solar amenity on the south facing site.
