This site on Princes Highway Rockdale is locate next to a heritage art deco hotel. The design mediates between the towers to the south and the pub on the corner. Whist the site is prominent, recent buildings have missed an opportunity to present a strong gateway on this major intersection. The new building reinterprets the heritage language of the pub to create an iconic corner statement. The design was approved in 2015 and will start construction shortly
